📓 Flight Log 📊 Statistics ✏️ Edit Entries 🔗 Links to RPC Records

1. Overview

The AIS RPC Logbook is the flight hours record for each remote pilot registered in the system. It maintains a chronological log of all flight entries, calculates cumulative statistics, and links to the RPC Record Management app which holds the pilot's compliance documents.

📋 What it records

Date of each flight
Aircraft type (MR / FW / NH)
Aircraft registration (e.g. ZT-609)
Pilot in Command name
Flight route or location
Duration in HH:MM format
Remarks (e.g. Training, Skills Test)

📊 Statistics dashboard

Four summary cards update automatically above the logbook table:

Total Flights — count of all log entries
Total Hours — cumulative HH:MM
Aircraft Types — unique types flown
Primary Type — most hours by type

2. Logging a Flight Entry

1

Select the active pilot from the dropdown at the top of the page

2

Click ＋ Log Flight in the header — the flight entry form opens

3

Enter flight details
Date and Duration are required. Duration must be in HH:MM format (e.g. 01:30 for 1 hour 30 minutes). Pilot in Command is the person who flew, which may differ from the RPC holder.

4

Click Save Entry — the entry appears in the logbook table and statistics update immediately

✅Entries are sorted newest-first in the table. The TOTAL row at the bottom always shows the running sum of all hours for the active pilot.

3. Editing and Deleting Entries

✏️ Editing an entry

Click the ✏️ button in the rightmost column of any flight row. The entry loads into the Log Flight form — edit any field and click Save Entry to apply the changes.

🗑 Deleting an entry

Click the 🗑 button in the rightmost column. A confirmation dialog appears — confirm to delete. Deletions cannot be undone.

4. Managing Pilots

Pilots are managed from either app — changes made in the Logbook are immediately visible in the RPC Record Management app, and vice versa.

Add a new pilot	Click ＋ Add Pilot in the header. The pilot will appear across both apps.
Edit pilot details	Click ✏️ Edit on the pilot card displayed below the selector.
Remove a pilot	Click 🗑 Remove on the pilot card. This deletes the pilot, all their records, documents and flight entries permanently.

5. Duration Format Reference

Entry format	What it means
00:30	30 minutes
01:00	1 hour exactly
01:45	1 hour 45 minutes
00:11	11 minutes (short skills test or evaluation flight)

6. Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
Flight won't save — "Please enter a date and duration"	Both Date and Duration fields are required. Duration must be in HH:MM format with a colon separator.
Total hours seems wrong	Ensure all durations use HH:MM format. Values like "30" instead of "00:30" will not parse correctly.
Pilot list is empty	Pilots must be added first — either in this app or in the RPC Record Management app. Both share the same pilot list.
Flights not visible in RPC Record Management	Flight data is only shown in the Logbook app. Record Management shows certifications only. The shared data is the pilot list — not the flights.
